Recently I spent a few hours, finding some of the Android Launchers that aren’t as much well known as some of the famous Launchers. Today we’re not going to talk about NOVA, Apex, Go Launcher etc. These are most known Android launcher till date but This post is not about them as most of you may already know about them.
Android Operating System is well known for its customizability and the main factors are Custom ROMs and Android Launchers. But, There are some launchers that are very good in the department they are in and not really as well known as other giants out there.
SwiftOpen Launcher
This launcher is still in beta development but as the name says it is very swift and pretty stable I would say. You Wouldn’t be able to find this launcher in Google play Store. The apps take significantly lesser time to launch which is the main feature of this Launcher. The Launcher is actually a side launcher from which you can swipe your finger from any side of the Display and release on an app short-cut. You can change and manage the Shortcuts in the settings. There are many other features of this Launcher.

- Custom icons for folders
- Alt-tab to switch to the previous app
- Tablet (and phablet) mode
- Lightweight and bettery friendly
- Option to remove statusbar icon
- Plenty of customization

FlowHome Launcher
This launcher is also still in the beta, but it is available for free download from Google Playstore. This launcher is also pretty stable and has couple of gestures and Features in it. It has a BlinkFeed-Like stream in it which is actually your social feed and you can add your Facebook, Twitter and other accounts and it will show you all the updates in a very clean manner. This Launcher is my personal favourite from this list. 🙂
This Launcher is still in the Invite-only phase but thanks to the Developers to give the Invite code to all XDA Forum Members.
