The New HTC J Butterfly Offers Better Specs Than Company’s Flagship M9

Daniyal Sheikh

As everyone knows the latest flagship ‘Htc M9’ by HTC is not up to the mark and have been criticized a lot for not being innovative or enough special to come out in front of its predecessor. The M9 is way too similar to its predecessor “Htc M8” in design but the specs are also not so forward specially the legendary 1080p Display of M9. For the ones who were really saddened because of the M9 can have a break as the latest offering from HTC is quite decent and have better design and specs than the M9.

HTC’s latest entry, the all new Htc J butterfly features 5.2 inches QHD display at resolution of 1440×2560 pixels. In addition to this 2k display, a snapdragon 810 processor is there with 3GB of Ram. Mostly the high-end smartphones with huge storage doesn’t offer support for external memory but interestingly with 32GB of internal storage, the Htc J butterfly offers support for external memory via microsdcard. The New HTC J Butterfly Offers Better Specs Than Company’s Flagship M9htc j butterfly htv31 specs

The J Butterfly have a 20.2 MP duo camera which ensures the ultra clear pixels in output image. It also have a 13MP wide angle camera at front for selfie lovers. To backup all that hardware, it features a 2700 mAh battery ensuring the phone keeps run atleast a one full day. Now coming to its design, although it is not of metal and the body is of plastic but the premium insides makes it look premium. It also features water resistance technology and is available in three different colors which are blue, red and white. About its availability, this summer it will be heading towards japan only under the tag of japanese carrier “KDDI” while there is a possibility that it will be re-branded or re-named as ‘Butterfly 3’ in markets of other regions.

Now the question that all want to know is that why HTC didn’t come up with features like QHD, high-end duo camera and better front facing camera earlier with M9? well this can only be answered by the company but according to our thoughts on this matter, Htc doesn’t want to keep up the QHD trend in its flagships and want to add them in their other flagship level smatphones. We think this latest entry will make its impact but still it is too early to get the final verdicts.
