Google Nexus 9 Review

Google launched its most premium Tablet ever, Meet the all new Google Nexus 9. Built by HTC, Powered by NVIDIA and Refined by the best of Google’s Android Lollipop. Google Nexus 9 is a real powerhouse with an overall brilliant build. The Tablet is rocking a 8.9 inch Diagonally measured IPS LCD, 1536 x 2048 pixels which makes pixel density of 281 Pixels per inch.

Camera and Optics

The Tablet has an 8 Mega-Pixels Rear facing Camera, with 1080P video Recording Capability. An LED Flash light to light up darker scenes, AutoFocus, Geo-Tagging, Touch Focus, Face detection etc. The Front facing camera is a 1.6 Mega-Pixels which is also capable of recording 720P Video.

Processing Power

The tablet is rocking a 64-bit architecture based Chip from NVIDIA which is a Dual-Core Chip having Maximum Clock Speed upto 2.3GHz. For the Graphics, Nexus 9 has Kepler DX1 which has more then the power Required to render 3D graphics at marvellous Frame-Rate. Gaming on the New Nexus 9 is really a fun to play, all thanks to the Front-Firing HTC’s BoomSound stereo Speakers.

HTC Nexus 9 has 2 GB of RAM which is more then enough for any task on the new Android Lollipop.

Connectivity

Nexus 9 comes in two network options, Wi-Fi Only and LTE. The modem used in the LTE version of the Nexus 9 is Qualcomm® Gobi™ modem, it has support for LTE/HSPA+/EV-DO/GSM. You can make phone Calls as well from the LTE version. Other Connectivity goodies include, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth v4.1, A2DP, apt-X, NFC and USB 2.0

Sensors

Nexus 9  has all the basic sensors required in a tablet. It includes GPS, Ambient light sensor for auto brightness adjustment, Gyroscope for keeping the record of all 3D movements and best for Motio-sensitive Games, Accelerometer for Auto-Rotate, Magnetometer for digital Compass.

Battery

The Nexus 9 is backed-up with a 6700 mAh Non-Replaceable battery which is capable of providing
Wi-Fi Browsing Up to 9.5 hours, LTE Browsing Up to 8.5 hours, Video Playback Up to 9.5 hours, Wi-Fi Standby Up to 30 days, LTE Standby  Up to 30 days

Final Verdict

Google Nexus 9 is, No Doubt, the best of its kind Tablet. Google has took a step ahead and produced 64-bit powered Nexus tablet. We recommend you to wait a little as the Nexus 9 is Introduced at a very high price, $399.99 for 16GB Wi-FI Only Model which is not a small amount.
